about

Spoken parts are taken from Eugene Thacker's book "In the Dust of This Planet" (highly recommended reading!).
Sample is taken from "The Pit and The Pendulum" (1961)

lyrics

Life’s just an instant in this world.
Like meteoric impact the tip is curled.
To let it crumble, to leave it die another planet to deify.
Unfeigned outline hides behind a sardonic veil.

Vital condition’s an odd symmetry
Loss on ignition to follow wilfully

“A new ignorance is on the horizon, an ignorance borne not of a lack of knowledge but of too much knowledge, too much data, too many theories, too little time.”

Reiteration uncompelled in thin section magnified spell.
Quenched upheaval blight thought evil.

“The question that runs through these disputatio is the following: What if “horror” has less to do with a fear of death, and more to do with the dread of life?”

“The more we learn about the planet, the stranger it becomes to us.”

Are you scared?

To unveil what’s behind?
Are you afraid to open your mind’s eye?
